Burlington Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Greater Vision Academy Lions 21-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Royals also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.
Danny Primm was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts. He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Davis Philips was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Lofton Gonzalez, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Burlington Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Greater Vision Academy only posted an OBP of .214.
Burlington Christian Academy pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Burlington Christian Academy will venture away from home to take on Salem Baptist Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greater Vision Academy, they will head out to face off against Liberty Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
