The Cambria Heights Highlanders will head out on the road to  challenge  the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Last Wednesday,  it was close, but  Cambria Heights sidestepped Homer-Center for  a  5-3 victory.
 Jayden Ivory looked comfortable as she  pitched four innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   four  hits.
 On the hitting side,  Ellie Bender was  excellent,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Gina Lane, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-4.
Meanwhile,  after only one  run in their last  game, Hollidaysburg made sure to put some  runs up on the board against Bellwood-Antis  on Tuesday. Hollidaysburg had just enough and edged out Bellwood-Antis  12-11. The  win continues a trend for the Golden Tigers in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won three in a row.
 The team  relied heavily on  Mia Hall, who  went 2-for-4 with three  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Lexi Peacock, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-5.
 Cambria Heights might still be hurting after the  13-3 loss they got from Hollidaysburg  when the teams last played  back in March of 2024. Can Cambria Heights avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
