The Meyer Ravens won the last time they faced the Moody Bearcats, and things went their way on Friday too. Meyer took their game at home with ease, bagging a 64-33 victory over Moody. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Meyer.
Meyer's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ethan Eckles, who scored 15 points along with six assists and three steals. Eckles is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Nathan Maxile, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and six steals.
Meyer is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season. As for Moody, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5.
Meyer will head out on the road to face off against Bruceville-Eddy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Moody, they will be playing at home against Crawford at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
