After failing to score in their last game, Lecanto made sure to put some goals up on the board against Weeki Wachee on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Weeki Wachee Hornets as they made off with a 5-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won three matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Weeki Wachee from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Lecanto's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Weeki Wachee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Lecanto will be home for the holidays to greet Citrus at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lecanto is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.6 goals per game this season. As for Weeki Wachee, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 5-0 loss against Central on the 14th.
