Upland Christian Academy led Agape (8 Man) in scoring this week after putting up 70 points on Lutheran. Luis Barbery ran for 191 yards in the win.
Aubrey Merritt was the best wideout in the league this week as Excelsior Charter defeated California Lutheran. Merritt tallied two receptions for 39 yards.
Daniel Stratton put up the best numbers through the air as Lucerne Valley bested Victor Valley Christian. He finished with two completions for 37 yards and two touchdowns. Stratton's favorite target this week was Robert Rodriguez, who caught one pass for 28 yards.
The Mustangs' Stratton and Gavin White have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Stratton has thrown for 872 yards this season, while White, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 19 catches for 300 yards. Kyle Washington from the Eagles leads the league in rushing with 835 yards.
A big matchup in Agape (8 Man) this week will be when Lucerne Valley takes on the Eagles. Chris Klinger's team is in second place, while Upland Christian Academy is in fourth place.
The Mustangs made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 615 from 699. The advance stemmed from a 56-0 victory over the Royals last week.
