The Moses Lake Mavericks's game on Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They snuck past Pasco with a 50-44 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Moses Lake also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Pasco lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Mia Salgado, who scored 14 points. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for her. Makayla Rublee was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Moses Lake's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Pasco, their defeat was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moses Lake will square off against Wenatchee at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Pasco is on the road again on Saturday and play against Hanford at 3:15 p.m. on December 16th. Hanford comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
