Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crowley). They were the clear victor by a 13-7 margin over the Eunice Bobcats on Saturday. The game was the first time the Gent have beaten the Bobcats on their field since April 21, 2015.

Crowley is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. Eunice dropped their record down to 7-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crowley will face off against Delcambre at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Crowley will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Eunice, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Bobcats take on the Tigers at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
