Luc Aguilar Delivers Best Effort of Season
Seton Catholic was led to victory by Luc Aguilar, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Aguilar rushed for 298 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.0 yards per carry, and also picked up 35 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
For the year, Aguilar has averaged 43.7 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had four rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 14.

A Season-Best Performance from Kanai Hongo Leads Gila Ridge over Cibola
Kanai Hongo produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Gila Ridge to the win on Thursday. Hongo rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns. Gila Ridge is undefeated when Hongo posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise.
The victory got Gila Ridge back to even at 3-3. Hongo and Gila Ridge will take on Seton Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
