The biggest upset of the week belonged to Wellington, who took down 149th ranked Circle, 36-12.
Andale extended the longest winning streak in Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division IV this week by beating Augusta, 64-9. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Indians.
The Thunderbirds' dynamic duo of Garrett Hutson and Stewart Dennison proved tough for the Crusaders to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Hutson threw for 106 yards and one touchdown and Dennison had 54 yards receiving. Zach Nelson helped Circle's passing attack out by catching one ball for 41 yards.
Isaiah Franklin was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 11 carries, he ran for 159 yards as Collegiate lost to Wellington. Landon Root also contributed to the rushing game with 35 yards on the ground.
Collegiate's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Spartans feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Root has thrown for 788 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Markus Phox has 20 catches for 410 yards. Franklin leads the league in rushing with 641 yards.
A big matchup in Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division IV this week will be when the Crusaders take on Andale. As it stands, Wellington is in fourth, while Gary O'Hair's team is in second.
The Crusaders made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,208 from 12,087. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 36-12 victory over Bob Pool's team last week.
