Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fairland). They put the hurt on the Afton Eagles with a sharp 16-2 win on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Owls sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Fairland's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Afton, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Coincidentally, Fairland and Afton will both be playing Bluejacket the next time they take the field. The Owls will head out to face the Chieftains at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Eagles will host them on Friday.
