The Holy Trinity Titans''s three-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 34-7 victory over St. Francis Prep. The win was just what Holy Trinity needed coming off of a 41-14 loss in their prior contest.
Even if they lost, St. Francis Prep's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Leading the way was Kareem Vessup and his two sacks.
Holy Trinity's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for St. Francis Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holy Trinity will square off against Monsignor Farrell at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Monsignor Farrell will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for St. Francis Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Moore Catholic at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Moore Catholic presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than St. Francis Prep in New York (Moore Catholic is ranked 45th, while St. Francis Prep is ranked 301st).
