Carlisle County has struggled against Marshall County recently, as their match on Tuesday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Carlisle County still got an impressive performance from Carter Burnett, who scored 17 points along with 3 steals. Burnett scored a full 47.2% of Carlisle County's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyatt Rickard, who scored 6 points.
Carlisle County now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Marshall County, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Carlisle County will head out on the road to face off against Hickman County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hickman County is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Marshall County, they will be playing at home against Graves County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Graves County and Marshall County are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
