After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Keller, The Fossil Ridge Panthers were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They put the hurt on Keller Central with a sharp 35-10 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-3.
Logan Cundiff looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 133 yards and two touchdowns. Logan Taylor got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Fossil Ridge's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Keller Central, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Fossil Ridge will head out on the road to face off against Southlake Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. One thing working in Southlake Carroll's favor is that they have now posted big point totals every time they've taken the field this season. As for Keller Central, they will be playing at home against Timber Creek at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Timber Creek will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
