The Claremore Christian Warriors will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Dove Science Academy Raptors at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Neither of these teams found much success offensively their last time out, scoring well below their season average.
Claremore Christian suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Saturday. They were dealt a 55-15 loss at the hands of Crossover Prep. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Claremore Christian has scored all season.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Dove Science Academy, who are still winless after their seventh match. They took a serious blow against Booker T. Washington on Thursday, falling 80-10. While losing is never fun, Dove Science Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 456th, while Booker T. Washington is ranked 16th).
Claremore Christian bumped their record down to 4-9 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.0 points per game. As for Dove Science Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
Claremore Christian strolled past Dove Science Academy when the teams last played on January 4th by a score of 47-31. The rematch might be a little tougher for Claremore Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
