Lawrence has been on the road for four straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the White Pigeon Chiefs at 7:30 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Lawrence was able to grind out a solid win over Bangor, taking the game 49-36. The victory was just what Lawrence needed coming off of a 57-35 defeat in their prior contest.
It was another big night for Ben McCaw, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Lawrence's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zander Payment, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, White Pigeon beat Cassopolis 52-47 on Thursday.
Lawrence's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for White Pigeon, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
