The Boys & Girls Kangaroos will be playing in front of their home fans against the White Plains Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New York (Boys & Girls is ranked 194th, while White Plains is ranked 196th).
Last Tuesday, Boys & Girls came up short against Van Arsdale and fell 58-45.
Meanwhile, White Plains entered their tilt with Fox Lane with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. White Plains blew past Fox Lane 56-22 at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-7.
White Plains had a senior duo take command as Ineivi Plata scored 12 points along with six assists and six steals and Sequoia Layne scored nine points along with ten rebounds and five assists. Plata hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Mckenna Austin, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Boys & Girls' defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for White Plains, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.
