Jett Taylor Delivers Best Performance of Season
Jett Taylor produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Grand Saline to the win on Friday. Taylor's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 184 rushing yards dating back to last season. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making six total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
The victory for Grand Saline keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Taylor and Grand Saline will face off against Chisum at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Klayton Meadows's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his sixth-straight game with 101+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 141 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 160 yards and a touchdown on only 14 passes.
For the season, Meadows has thrown 3 touchdowns while averaging 117.8 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after five games last season, he was only averaging 0.2 passing yards per game.

Lucas Pippin Goes Supernova in Edgewood Loss
While Edgewood might've come up empty on Friday, Lucas Pippin wasn't going down without a fight. Pippin showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 60 yards.

A Season-Best Performance from Corbin Johnson Leads Lone Oak over Prairiland
Lone Oak was led to victory by Corbin Johnson, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Johnson picked up 152 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 50 yards.
The win for Lone Oak keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Johnson and Lone Oak will challenge Quitman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
