Northwest is a perfect 3-0 against Lutheran South since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Lions will square off against the Lancers at 4:15 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Northwest proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their defense stepped up to hand Fox a 1-0 shutout. Northwest haven't had any issues with Fox recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Lutheran South got the win against Principia on Monday by a conclusive 4-0. The result was nothing new for Lutheran South, who have now won four games by three goals or more so far this season.

Lutheran South now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Northwest, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.

Northwest took their victory against Lutheran South when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 4-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
