Basha faced Desert Vista in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Bears put the hurt on the Thunder with a sharp  14-4 win. Considering the Bears have won 13 matches by more than five  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Morgan Bragg was a standout: she went 1-for-3 with one  home run and four  RBI. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in March.  Addy Kimberlin was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
 They weren't the only ones working in the  home run department: Basha  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  launched at least two  home runs in four consecutive  contests.
Basha is  on a roll lately: they've  won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record  this season. As for Desert Vista, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 23-6.
