The Ocoee Knights stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 52-12 win over Oviedo on the road. The win was nothing new for Ocoee as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Micah Hannah was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 11 steals. She also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Paris Triplett was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Ocoee has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Oviedo, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-9.
Ocoee will take on Freedom at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oviedo, they will head out on the road to face off against Lake Howell at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Lake Howell has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 12.
