Boonton is 0-3 against the Crimson since December of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Boonton Bombers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Morristown-Beard Crimson at 6:00 p.m. Morristown-Beard took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Boonton, who comes in off a win.
Boonton can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. Everything went their way against Dover as Boonton made off with a 42-19 win. The win was just what Boonton needed coming off of a 55-13 defeat in their prior game.
Meanwhile, Morristown-Beard's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight defeat. They were beaten by Morris Catholic 96-27. While losing is never fun, Morristown-Beard can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 183rd, while the Crusaders are ranked first).
Boonton's victory bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Morristown-Beard, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-12.
Things could have been worse for Boonton, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 53-38 loss to the Crimson in their previous meeting back in January.
