The Cleveland Cavaliers were the 63-48 winner over the Granada Hills Charter Highlanders when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. Cleveland was just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 60-59 to the Highlanders. Cleveland has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Cleveland lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Souljah Niles, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Niles has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamari King, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Cleveland's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-9. As for Granada Hills Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 16-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cleveland will take on the Patriots at 4:49 p.m. on Wednesday. Birmingham knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight contests -- so hopefully the Cavaliers likes a good challenge. As for Granada Hills Charter, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Royals at 4:49 p.m. on Wednesday. El Camino Real has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 182 points over their last three games.
