While Heritage Christian didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the Tuscaloosa Christian Warriors 12-1 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Angels, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Heritage Christian and bumps their season record up to 6-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Tuscaloosa Christian, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heritage Christian will host Rocket City at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tuscaloosa Christian, they will face off against Tuscaloosa Home Educators at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
