The Children's Village Hawks 's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Hamilton on the road and fell 88-32. Children's Village has struggled against the Raiders recently, as their game on Wednesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Children's Village still got an impressive performance from Damani Briggins, who scored 12 points. Makai Webster was another key contributor, scoring four points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
Children's Village's loss was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Hamilton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-4.
Children's Village will head out on the road to face off against the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hamilton, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Knights at 5:15 p.m. Greenburgh-North Castle will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 755th, while the Raiders are ranked 309th).
