Central Cambria typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Westmont Hilltop proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Central Cambria Red Devils by a score of 54-42. The victory continues a trend for the Hilltoppers in their matchups with the Red Devils: they've now won six in a row.

Several Red Devils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Grady Snyder, who went 7 for 17 to rack up 19 points and three steals. The match was Snyder's third in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of John Brouse, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 boards.

Westmont Hilltop's win bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Central Cambria, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-9.

Coming up, Westmont Hilltop will challenge Penn Cambria at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central Cambria, they will take on Portage at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Portage will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Central Cambria surely won't give up without a fight.
