Liberty had won six straight at home, but  on Wednesday they bumped up to 24-9 to make it seven. They put the hurt on the Silverado Skyhawks with a sharp  3-0 win. This was payback for the Patriots, who suffered  a  3-2  defeat the last time these two teams met.
 MYLA MATAVAO paced Liberty's offense, picking up ten kills. MATAVAO got some help from  ADDISON JONES and her 18 assists.  MAHANA CONNER controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
As for Silverado, their loss  ended  a  three-match streak of away wins  and  brought them to 13-13. Considering the last time they couldn't score was  back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.
 Despite the  defeat, Silverado saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Marlee Fakatoumafi  had seven  digs and two  aces.
 Coming up, Liberty will head out on the road to  challenge  Faith Lutheran  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Silverado, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  matchup,  a  3-1  victory against Basic on the 23rd.
