Central Florida Christian Academy scaled the state rankings by moving to 502 from 531 this week, the biggest jump in Sunshine State - North. The Eagles climbed the ranks as a result of beating Cornerstone Charter Academy 12-7.
City of Life Christian Academy was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from fifth to second in the league. Earlier in the week, the Warriors defeated All Saints' Academy 22-13.
Windermere Prep's dynamic duo of Parker Davis and Andrew Kane proved tough for Ocala Christian to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Davis threw for 112 yards and 3 touchdowns and Kane had 60 yards receiving. Chris Granjean helped Windermere Prep's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 20 yards.
The Lakers' dynamic duo of Davis and Kane proved to be unstoppable against the Crusaders, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Kane was the best receiver in the league this week as Windermere Prep beat Ocala Christian.
He was 12-18 with 2 interceptions.
Davis put up the best numbers through the air as Jacob Doss' team topped Jason Zimmerman's team.
Chris Vanegas was the best running back in Sunshine State - North this week. In 13 carries, he ran for 68 yards as Legacy Charter beat the Crusaders. Teammate Emmanuel Flanders added to the ground attack by rushing for 27 yards.
Windermere Prep's Davis and Kane have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-9 quarterback Davis has thrown for 508 yards this season, while Kane has 14 catches for 158 yards. Legacy Charter's Vanegas leads the league in rushing yards with 213.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Seven Rivers Christian takes on First Academy. The Warriors are in seventh place, while the Eagles are in first place.
Central Florida Christian Academy and the Ducks played the closest game in the league this week, with Central Florida Christian Academy eventually emerging with a 12-7 victory. Ben Moore threw for 52 yards and ran for 27 yards in the win.
