New Dimensions and Four Corners are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. New Dimensions will head out on the road to take on the Four Corners Coyotes at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
New Dimensions put the finishing touches on their fifth blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Mater Brighton Lakes Academy 80-47 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory New Dimensions has posted since December 7, 2023.
Jeremiah Carrasquillo and Jeriel Martinez were among the main playmakers for New Dimensions as the former scored 22 points and the latter scored 25 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Rios, who scored eight points.
Meanwhile, even though Ridgeview Global Studies Academy scored an imposing 56 points on Wednesday, Four Corners still came out on top. Four Corners took their match against Ridgeview Global Studies Academy 69-56. The win was just what Four Corners needed coming off of a 67-42 defeat in their prior game.
It was another big night for Kesh Harpal, who scored 35 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Joshua Barnes was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
New Dimensions has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Four Corners, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as both teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. New Dimensions hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 66.2 points per game. It's a different story for Four Corners, though, as they've been averaging only 54.8 points per game. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Everything came up roses for New Dimensions against Four Corners when the teams last played two weeks ago as the squad secured a 83-43 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for New Dimensions since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
