The Chilton County Tigers were the  74-61 winner over the Stanhope Elmore Mustangs when they last played one another  back in November, but their luck changed this time around. Chilton County fell just short of Stanhope Elmore by a score of  60-57. Chilton County has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Despite the  loss, Chilton County had strong showings from  Iasia Anderson, who  dropped  a triple-double on 21 points, 11  assists, and 12  steals, and  Tyeshia Williams, who  dropped  a double-double on 14 points and 21  rebounds. The  matchup was  Anderson's fourth in a row with at least ten points.  Ivyonna Varner was another key contributor,  scoring 14 points along with five  steals.
 Chilton County's defeat  ended a four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 8-6. As for Stanhope Elmore, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season.
 Chilton County will take on John Carroll Catholic in a holiday battle at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday at. Stanhope Elmore will be home for the holidays to greet  JAG at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. JAG is coming into the  game on a three-game losing streak.
