Civic Leadership/AAE had already won two in a row dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 points), and they went ahead and made it three last Friday. They walked away with a 44-33 win over Academy of Science and Innovation.
Civic Leadership/AAE's victory was their third straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-0. As for Academy of Science and Innovation, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.
Civic Leadership/AAE beat the Ravens 44-33 in their previous meeting last Friday. The rematch might be a little tougher for Civic Leadership/AAE since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
