Oneonta has struggled against Locust Fork recently, as their contest on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Faith Evans was her usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with five rebounds and four steals for Locust Fork. The contest was Evans' 16th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Hope Evans, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds.
Oneonta's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Locust Fork, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.
Oneonta will head out on the road to face off against Southeastern at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Locust Fork, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Cold Springs at 5:30 p.m.
