Washington is 0-10 against Kennedy since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Washington Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Kennedy Cougars at 7:30 p.m. Washington knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine games -- so hopefully Kennedy likes a good challenge.
Last Tuesday, Washington beat Xavier by the very same score they won with last week: 56-51.
Meanwhile, Kennedy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Iowa City, posting a 71-42 win on the road. The result was nothing new for Kennedy, who have now won five games by 29 points or more so far this season.
Washington is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Kennedy, their win was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0.
Washington came up short against Kennedy when the teams last played back in January, falling 67-57. Can Washington avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
