After a string of four wins, Benton's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They have to be aching after a bruising 6-34 loss to Union. The loss was a vexing one since Benton were expected to win based on their state ranking.
The defeat dropped Benton's record to 4-1. The win bumped Union's record up to 3-2.
Next week Benton take on Nevada at 7:30 PM. Union will stay at home against Roland-Story at 7:30 PM. Union will be strutting in after a victory while Roland-Story will be stumbling in from a loss.
