Geneseo is a perfect 10-0 against Galesburg since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Maple Leafs will host the Silver Streaks at 4:30 p.m. Geneseo is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7 runs per game this season.

Geneseo got a great performance from Kendyl Wassenhove as she tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.
On the hitting side, Madisyn Buysse was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Lillian Brown was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.
Geneseo was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. They are a perfect 14-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Galesburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 27th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Quincy, falling 13-3.
Galesburg saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ariel Martinez, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Lyn Walker also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
Galesburg's defeat dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Geneseo, their win bumped their record up to 18-7.
Galesburg's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Geneseo hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .389. It's a different story for Galesburg, though, as they've only averaged .193. Will they be able to contain Geneseo's hitters?
Everything went Geneseo's way against Galesburg in their previous matchup back in April, as Geneseo made off with a 23-0 victory. Will the Maple Leafs repeat their success, or do the Silver Streaks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
