The Palmdale Aerospace Academy Griffins won the last time they faced the Lancaster Baptist Eagles, and things went their way on Friday too. The Palmdale Aerospace Academy blew past the Eagles 64-35 on the road.
Leading The Palmdale Aerospace Academy to victory were David Romero and Tobi Akinsete. Romero dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds, while Akinsete scored 18 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Romero hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Mylan Thomas, who scored seven points along with two steals.
The Palmdale Aerospace Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Lancaster Baptist, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.
The Palmdale Aerospace Academy will square off against the Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Desert Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 last Thursday. Lancaster Baptist does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
