The Creekside Knights will square off against the Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Friday, Creekside took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 67-33 win over Bradford. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Creekside has managed all season.
Ethan Tucker was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with five assists and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Alex Collier, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and six steals.
Meanwhile, with a playoff game on the line, Flagler Palm Coast rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They managed a 58-52 victory over the Bears. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Flagler Palm Coast.
Creekside pushed their record up to 16-9 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Flagler Palm Coast, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-12 record this season.
Creekside strolled past Flagler Palm Coast in their previous matchup back in November of 2016 by a score of 49-34. Will Creekside repeat their success, or does Flagler Palm Coast have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
