The DeKalb County Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their eighth straight loss. They took a 57-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Stone Memorial. DeKalb County has struggled against Stone Memorial recently, as their match on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Cade Capps, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds for Stone Memorial. Capps also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Brady Lane, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.
DeKalb County dropped their record down to 9-15 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Stone Memorial, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-8.
DeKalb County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-46 defeat vs. Warren County on the 10th. Stone Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
