The Woodland Wolfpack pushed their score all the way to 66 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 74-66 to Carrollton. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Friday (65), Woodland still had to take the loss.
Despite the loss, Woodland still got an impressive performance from Mason Lewis, who scored 17 points. The contest was Lewis' tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Langston Jones, who scored 17 points along with five assists.
This is the second loss in a row for Woodland and nudges their season record down to 6-4. As for Carrollton, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.
Woodland will be home for the holidays to greet Arabia Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Arabia Mountain has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 576 points over their last nine contests. Carrollton and Trinity Christian will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 11th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Trinity Christian is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
