The Braintree Wamps entered their tilt with the Milton Wildcats with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Braintree took down Milton 33-19 on Thursday. Braintree's win was all the more impressive since Milton was averaging only 16 points allowed on the season.
James Curry was his usual excellent self, rushing for 204 yards and two touchdowns. Curry is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last four games he's played. Caleb Parsons-gomes was another key contributor, picking up 75 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Another reason for the win was Braintree's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for six sacks. Milton's QB won't forget Nick Tutkus anytime soon given Tutkus sacked him twice.
Braintree's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Milton, they have yet to win a game on the road this season, leaving them with a 8-4 record.
Braintree does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Milton will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Walpole at 8:00 p.m. Walpole has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 329 points over their last eight matchups.
