Jackson Mitchell posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out five batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off seven hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
