Currituck County has gone a perfect 10-0 against Manteo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Currituck County will host Manteo at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Currituck County took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over Camden County.

Dom Doran and Mason Beliles made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Doran tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Meanwhile, Beliles tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. At the plate, Doran scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2, while Beliles scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. Those two runs gave Beliles a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jake McClanan, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that he hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dom Espinoza, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4.
Meanwhile, Manteo hadn't done well against First Flight recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Manteo was the clear victor by a 17-8 margin over First Flight. Considering the Redskins have won five games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Manteo let Mason McCord and Drew Brown run wild. McCord scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4, while Brown got on base in four of his six plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Jack Woodson, who scored two runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
Manteo's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Currituck County, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Currituck County has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Manteo struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Currituck County's way against Manteo in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Currituck County made off with a 9-0 win. Does Currituck County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Manteo turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
