Soccer Recap: D.C. Everest Comes Up Short

D.C. Everest and Hortonville squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but D.C. Everest had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Polar Bears by a score of 2-1.

D.C. Everest's goal came courtesy of Hezekiah Mletzko, who's now up to 26 this season.

D.C. Everest's defeat dropped their record down to 16-3-4. As for Hortonville, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 20-0-3.

As of now, neither D.C. Everest nor the Polar Bears have any future games scheduled.
