Horizon Honors is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Heritage Academy is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Horizon Honors Eagles will take on the Heritage Academy Heroes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.

Despite their loss, Horizon Honors saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Max Gerelick, who scored 19 points, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew McEnaney, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and six blocks.
In what's become a running theme this season, Heritage Academy gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. Everything went their way against St. Augustine Catholic as Heritage Academy made off with a 77-53 win.
Horizon Honors' loss dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Heritage Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.
Horizon Honors came up short against Heritage Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 55-48. Can Horizon Honors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
