Elizabeth Seton will square off against the Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
Elizabeth Seton is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. They blew past Varsity Opponent 16-4 on Monday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded Elizabeth Seton with their most commanding win of the  season.
 Kimmya Sims was a major factor no matter where she played. She  struck out six batters over  2.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in March of 2024.

 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Keagan Cooper, who  fired off two  home runs, three  RBI,  and one  double while going 3-for-4. She is  on a roll when it comes to  home runs, as she's  now  launched  at least one in each of the last three games she's  played.  Zoe Johnson also deserves some recognition as  she  snagged her first  stolen base of the season.
 Elizabeth Seton  lost a few balls and  finished the game with three  home runs. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  home run total in three consecutive  games.
Meanwhile, Cape Henry Collegiate never let their opponents score on Friday. They were the clear victors by  a  15-0 margin over Norfolk Christian. Fans of the Dolphins have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+  runs.
 Cape Henry Collegiate let  Leylana Dininny and  Macie Konikoff run wild. Dininny  went a perfect 3-for-3 with four  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run, while  Konikoff  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3.  Alex Bernstein was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-1.
 Cape Henry Collegiate's win was  their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 3-0. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Elizabeth Seton, their record is now 3-1.
 Cape Henry Collegiate's hitters will have their work cut out for them  on Tuesday. Elizabeth Seton has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 11  strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Cape Henry Collegiate, though, as  they've been averaging  only 3.3  strikeouts.
