Killdeer/Halliday scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Heart River co-op [Belfield/South Heart], 29-27. At the time, the Cougars was ranked seventh in the state, while the Cowboys was 35th.

Grant County/Flasher's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Coyotes feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Taylor Krenz has thrown for 511 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Zackary Schmidt has 13 catches for 228 yards. Bailey Stewart leads the league in rushing with 377 yards.
Chuck Wagner's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,124 from 10,427. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 29-27 victory over Dave Hendrickson's team last week.
