Clear Fork has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Highland Fighting Scots at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Clear Fork is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Fighting Scots in Ohio (the Colts are ranked 186th, while the Fighting Scots are ranked 471st).
Last Tuesday, Clear Fork didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against the Spartans, but they still walked away with a 36-32 win.
Meanwhile, Highland took a serious blow against the Whippets on Tuesday, falling 52-14. Highland has struggled against the Whippets recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Addie Mullins, who scored five points along with six rebounds.
Clear Fork has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Highland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
Clear Fork took their win against the Fighting Scots in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 40-20. Does Clear Fork have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Fighting Scots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
