Lincoln won the last time they faced Wheatland and things went their way on Friday too. The Lincoln Fighting Zebras claimed a resounding 71-25 win over the Wheatland Pirates. The Fighting Zebras have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lincoln to victory, but perhaps none more so than Michael Neely, who posted 14 points along with seven assists and seven boards. The dominant performance gave Neely a new career-high in assists. Another player making a difference was Jacob Butler, who made all 5 shots he took to post 12 points and four steals.

Lincoln pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Wheatland, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Lincoln will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Marysville at 7:30 p.m. Marysville will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Lincoln surely won't give up without a fight. Wheatland has already played their next contest (against Faith Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
