 Meanwhile, Roosevelt kept a clean sheet against McKinley Tech  last Monday. They were the clear victor by  a  9-0 margin over the Trainers. The high-scoring effort was just what the Roughriders needed considering they were shutout in their previous   contest.
 Bell's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Roosevelt, their  win (their first of the  season) made their record 1-2.
 Bell was able to grind out a solid  victory over Roosevelt when the teams last played  back in October of 2023, winning  3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bell since the  team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
