The Animo Watts Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Burton at home to the tune of 100-8. With that win, Animo Watts brought their scoring average up to 52 points per game.
Johntae Forshae was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten assists. That's the first time this season that he posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Betancourt, who scored 20 points along with three steals.
The win got Animo Watts back to even at 3-3. As for Burton, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing WISH Academy the next time they take the court. Animo Watts will head out to face WISH Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Burton will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
