They took a serious blow against South Haven Christian, falling 63-14. Temple Baptist Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-7.
Aliya Gagliano was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 12 rebounds for South Haven Christian. Gagliano is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Alexis Palmore was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
Temple Baptist Academy's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-3. As for South Haven Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Temple Baptist Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mount Pisgah Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 26th. South Haven Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Horizon Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 12th. Horizon Christian Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
